HeadGear for Heroes Hunting Club was created to send combat wounded heroes on all expense paid deer hunts in Iowa. We strongly believe that hunting and enjoying the great outdoors helps veterans to overcome physical and mental injuries sustained in combat. Our goal is to provide them with a completely stress free environment where they can relax and enjoy deer camp with Straight Arrow Outfitters.

Joe franklin
Joe is from Lower Alloways Creek, NJ and now lives in Iowa with his wife and two little boys. He joined the Marine Corps in 2001 and served 5 years on active duty. Since then he has worked as an operator at two different nuclear plants. He began deer hunting when he was 10 years old with his father and it has since grown into his passion.
